Deidre (Robinson) Powell

Deidre is an educator who has been serving students in the Los Angeles area and virtually for more than 30 years. When she and her students encountered the name Biddy Mason in an old text book, she was immediately driven by the desire to research exactly who Biddy Mason was. Open Hands, Open Heart: The Story of Biddy Mason is the product of that journey and Deidre strives to educate and empower students through Biddy's history.
